Governors for Schools ‘ CPD accredited induction programme covers all the essential information maintained school governors need to get started in their role so they can perform effectively as soon as they join the board.  

The modules are ideally suited for those who are new to education, with key language, regulations and acronyms explained so governors can fully engage with meetings and visits as soon as they are placed. Each section contains real examples of actions and questions to help governors develop best practice.

You are able to complete the modules in whichever order best suits your needs as a learner but certification is only available once all of the modules have been completed.

This eLearning is aimed at maintained school governors in the English state school system; governors in all jurisdictions may find elements helpful.
